2019 Update:

The Study Circle in San Diego met for the first time after a ten-year hiatus on December 8, 2019 at the San Diego Reader offices downtown. Several of the old Circle members met along with a new couple, both of whom are graduates of the John Paul II Institute in Washington, D.C. A lively discussion ensued on Robert Spaemann’s “What Makes Persons Persons,” as well as “The Many Homes of Anna Karinina,” a piece by Agata Rottkamp (both in the Fall–Winter 2018 issue of Communio). The leader, Jim Holman, shared, “One faithful Communio subscriber from Palm Springs joined us by phone from his new home in Texas.”
